For over a year, I have been seriously thinking about starting a blog. But life got busier and could not successfully create one.. until now!
My inspiration to start this blog is Miri of Peppermill. Sometime mid-march, I read about her from one of the food blogs I follow. I googled and found out about her sad ending. I learned more & more from other blogger's tribute to her. For the next couple of days, I could not get her out of my head. Even with such illness, she blogged so passionately. I'm one of those unfortunate ones who didn't get to know her before she was gone too soon. I somehow manage to read some post of hers every week. Even though I know about optimism, positive thinking in life, value of time, life,etc. , she made me realize the importance of it. I owe it to you , Miri..!!
I don't have any specific agenda for this blog. I'm going to write about everything that pops in my mind - My childhood, school, college, work, customs, marriage, kids, recipes and all that i've missed to mention. For the kind of person I'm, this blog provides me an opportunity to express myself. Also, I want to write down about important milestones in my kids life ( to overcome my guilt of not maintaining a scrapbook) , this is going to be it. I want to take it easy and avoid a tight schedule. Also I want to post regularly( atleast 1 post every week), but not going to fall into the category of "N" posts per "X" days . This has to be a journey that I want to enjoy for a very very long time. So I'm trying to keep it easy on me.
So why now? Today is a special day in my life.... A day I'll never forget. I embraced motherhood with the arrival of my dear daughter (N) 4 years ago. Life changed completely the moment she was placed in our hands. From then on, everything started reveolving around her. So what better day than to start another new journey in my life..! Its also kinda my gift on her birthday :)
